The Past Lives of Aki Vainio

This is for all of you out there who love to hate me or hate to love me.

I'm making a complete survey of my past lives and this is your chance to participate. Scrolling the page down, you see a general timeline of my lives on the left and a form on the right. By clicking on the names on the timeline, you can open a popup window which includes a short bio on that particular life.

Now, all of you out there, who wish to take a shot at me are free to do so. Not all of the bios are going to appear on the page, but I do appreciate certain creativity, even if it is done at my expense.

For the record: I do not believe in rebirth or anything like that. I am an atheist, pure and simple. This is all done in the name of fun and is not meant to be offensive to anyone. Obviously someone is going to take this all personally, but in that case, you probably shouldn't be on this page at all.

Write a bio

... but first some advice:

  • I've never been famous. Period. I might've worked with someone famous or something, but I have not had any great effect on the history of Mankind.
  • I've always been an asshole. I'm somewhat of an asshole now, so why not in all of my past lives.
  • I've always been a nerd.
  • If you wanna do the Donald Duck thing and give me a name that resembles my real name, use these guidelines:
    • My first name, Aki, is derived from the Finnish name Jaakkima, which is basically the same as Joachim.
    • My last name, Vainio, is a fanciful word for a field used for growing crops.
  • I've never been reborn in the same year as I've died. Obviously, I've only lived one life at a time.
  • I haven't always been male, white,
  • Your English should be good enough. I don't mind small typos here and there, but I don't want poor English on MY website.
  • Not all of my past lives have happened in Europe or (especially) America. Something more exotic will always catch my interest better.
  • Tie the bio to something historical if you can.
  • Copyright notice: I might change some details on your submission if I feel like it. This is simply because sometimes the dates need to be changes a little and so on.
  • If you think you might wish to come back and edit your text, leave your email address. It's not possible yet, but soon enough you'll be able to edit your own text and I'm planning on using the email addresses as a form of identification. I will not use your address for any other purposes and they will not be displayed anywhere on the site.
